Down hill ski ing is another winter pastime, Titus Mountain is only about an hour away from the motel and is a favourite for the less experienced skier, while 2 hours away is Lake Placid , home of the Winter Olympics. Here you can ski the big slopes, go off the jumps if you dare, or take a bone rattlin’ ride on the toboggan run – it’s fast!!
