For the brave hearted, ice fishing is available in the many bays that come off the St. Lawrence. So you can bring your shelter and leave it on the ice for the duration of your stay. There are several ice fishing tournaments in the general area every year, and they attract ice fisherman from all over the state. Most tournaments have a decent prize money payout, so come along and give it a try.
